Mike's mom wanted to get some time with all of her kids and their families so she planned a fun trip to a resort in Phoenix. So we packed up and headed to Phoenix! Kara can be quite a pill at the pool because she's fearless and hates to be held, so I was kind of dreading the time with her. I say that in the nicest way possible but it really is no fun with her around water right now!! :) Thankfully, we were heading to Tucson next and Mike's dad was going down too but a day earlier so he picked Kara up on his way so we could have a day to enjoy the pool...THANKS dad you're a lifesaver!!!
Davis playing putt-putt with Mike at the resort. He loves golf and had a blast! We loved hanging out, swimming and going on the lazy river...oops almost forgot the 10pm runs to In-n-Out, with Mike's mom and siblings!
Then it was on to Tucson, one of our kids most fav places! We headed down there with Lisa, Joe and the kids to, as always, eat way too much food and laugh a lot!!!
Mike's Uncle Randy is the most amazing cook...everything is gourmet down there!!
Uncle Randy's breakfast pizza! You don't want to know how many calories are in this thing but it tastes amazing! It has sausage gravy, hashbrowns, eggs, fresh herbs, bacon, green chilis and who knows what else on a boboli crust and it is amazing!!
Kara's new look, as she prepares to be an Olympic swimmer ;-)
Well, Lisa finally found her Prince Charming!!! :)
One of the boys' favorite things about Tucson is getting to play with their cousins! The twins had a blast here but poor Davis got thrown a little bit too high...he won't be doing that again any time soon!
Aunt Dana always makes a fun snack with the kids, so this time Jason asked what kind of fun snack they could make. Of course, Aunt Dana quickly thought of something and whipped out the ingredients! Too much fun! I think lots of tasting is always involved too, which is why the kids love it SO much!
We had a great time in Phoenix and Tucson, and our kids were sad that their month of having cousins around was finally coming to an end!
